Jon Shore is the CEO, Partner, and Financial Advisor at Shore Group Advisors, where he helps successful professionals and families work toward one simple goal: building a life where work becomes optional… and retirement actually feels like retirement.

Jon began his advisory career in 2012 and has spent the last decade+ building a planning-first, fiduciary firm that focuses on doing the right things, in the right order, for the right reasons. At Shore Group Advisors, he leads a refined client process called Your Personal Financial Advisor, designed to bring clarity, confidence, and calm to clients who want a steady plan—without feeling like they need a finance degree to understand it.

In addition to working directly with clients, Jon helps fellow financial advisors monetize and grow their practices through partnership opportunities with Shore Group Advisors. His goal is simple: help great advisors find a path to their next chapter—without spending the next ten years stuck in a “we might merge someday” situation.

Jon is a big believer in continuing education (and small believers in unnecessary complexity). Over the years, he has earned:

• Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA™) designation
• Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designation

These credentials help Jon serve clients both logically and emotionally—because the truth is, money decisions are rarely just math. They’re about real life, real priorities, and real peace of mind.

Outside the office, Jon enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, traveling, and trying to live healthy… while still being tempted by snacks at every turn. His wife, Samira, spent over a decade in the corporate world before founding Thriver Consulting, a firm specializing in consulting services for pharmaceutical organizations focused on biologics, cell, and gene therapy. Their daughter, Jayla, is almost 10 and loves reading, puzzles, soccer, and anything involving animals. She’s also already expressed serious interest in someday becoming an advisor at Shore Group Advisors—which is either adorable… or a future compliance department concern.

As a family, they love outdoor time, home projects, and anything involving dogs—because every great life plan needs at least one dog in it.
